Hells Canyon

This was a magical hidden away spot to hide from the National memorial day holiday.

Hell's canyon sits at the corner of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Steep gravel roads lead into a even steeper canyon. Mule deer and Whitetail deer were everywhere, some were tame even though there was hunting in the valley.

It was a great place to have Als birthday. His new bike was great on the dirt tracks once the load was removed.

We get Chris on here first gravel road and then onto her first dirt track. She is learning fast! The way out is a steep 15 mile gravel road that was worst than Skippers, but she handled it fine, although she was holding on to the handle bars like her life depended on it. Sore muscles meant that hot springs were on the cards.... Next stop the Payette river in central Idaho, on the back side of the sawtooth range.
